Police Shoot Girl, 12, With Taser At School

Unable to control a powerful and dangerous 12-year-old girl, Cincinnati cops taser her

An officer shot a 12-year-old schoolgirl with a Taser gun and arrested her after she became disruptive at school, Cincinnati police said.

The incident happened at Burton Elementary School in Avondale Wednesday.

Police said the principal called them when the girl refused to go to class. When officers arrived, they had trouble bringing the girl, who is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 120 pounds, under control. Officers said they warned the girl several times that they would use the Taser on her if she did not calm down.

She was charged for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

A Cincinnati-area mother says her 12-year-old daughter was humiliated and eventually stunned with a taser gun by Cincinnati Police inside Burton Elementary School Wednesday.

“My daughter Rakehsa has never been arrested and never been in trouble with the law,” Cynthia Harris tells ONN affiliate WXIX.

Rakesha Thomas was taken to Children’s Hospital with taser injuries and arm and facial bruises.

After the hospital visit the girl was taken to juvenile jail.

Cynthia Harris says Rakesha argued with another student, refused to go to detention, talked back to administrators, and then after 30 minutes of arguing with police got stunned.

“They did it out in the public in the school where other kids came around. She (Rakesha) said they were laughing,” said Harris.

According to the 12-year-old’s account, once threatened with being stunned she begged the officers to take her to ISS but was told it was too late.

Cincinnati Police say they’re investigating whether the use of force was justified.

You know, most people would say this is a serious abuse of force. Some people would contend that it is wrong to turn a weapon of any sort on a little girl is wrong. Especially a weapon whose sole purpose is to inflict excruciating crippling pain on its target, capable of taking down 300-pound PCP addicts and such. They must have been justified though. I would tend to disagree. I argue that the girl was summoning the immortal soul of Satan to devour the hearts and souls of the innocent in a vast orgy of blood and death. I mean, you could totally tell by the way she was dressed. She was asking for it. Sugar, spice, and everything nice… A likely story!

Good thing they put her down… we’re all a lot safer now. That whole bit about Satan and blood and stuff doesn’t sound the least bit pleasant. DISASTER AVERTED GG

This girl is the same height as me and 30 lbs smaller. If a couple cops were incapable of putting me in my place using brute strength I’d laugh at them. Unless she was raised in The Matrix or heavily armed there’s no excuse for this kind of crap.

I blame rock and roll. she clearly summoned the unholy spirit of Judas Priest to get +30 to strength and +12 to stamina. At that point, who can blame them for the taser.

maybe it was some kind of ill-concieved logic, like “oh, we can;t touch her or we get sued for being rough with her… but tasers.. hmm… those are approved by the department!! good deal! ZZZAPP”

Yup. that’s exactly what I was thinking.

        I blame rock and roll.

        No… clearly it’s those violent videogames 😉
