Hey all. pics as promised. There’s a fuckton.5 pics behind the cut, they’re all fairly small but 56k beware anyways.

First are pics from the New Year’s party at Dk0n’s place. The rest are from the vacation in general. Thanks to Reesey for resizing and hosting them. My company doesn’t give Mondays off on typical 3-day weekends, but they give a week and change around Christmas off. Fine by me.

We got to ze partay a little late for one reason or another. We got there at about 12:10 =P. We chatted for a while, then ended up watching Ghostbusters and playing poker. Everyone there was either NESIC or NESIC by association (Hi Josh), so it was a familiar crowd and definitely a good time. Reesey cleaned house at Hold’Em. Dustin always says new players have better luck for the first few games, but she trounced them pretty well. Somewhere along the way I uttered “I bet you won’t drink from the handle” to Severe Brian, and he ended up spending a moment or two confessing his sins to the porcelain gods. We left at around wheneverthefuck:00 and got home at 6:00am. sleep was good.

The rest of the pics are mostly from various moments during the break including our trip to the Boston Science Museum and to Wachusett Mountain.

We ended up going to the museum twice. We just so happened to get pretty much anywhere we were going *a little late*. so on our first time to the museum, we didn’t get there till 6:00 andthey closed at 7:00. We managed to get in for free due to some generous people giving us the extra slots on their free pass. we got our tickets validated, so we got to go again for free (w00t). We went to teh Cambridge Galleria after browsing the museum for an hour and did the “mall rat” thing. Our second trip gave us a little more time, and we got to see lots of cool stuff (including ferrofluisds and a giant silicon wang (of death)).We spent some time walking around Boston on the way there the second day too.

Here I am in front of (prolly a replica of) the “Whirlwind” memory core. that central pillar dealie houses the huge sum of 16 bytes of iron-core memory. OMG!! CORE DUMPED!!

Ferrofluids are like sea urchins… only not at all. Seriously one of the coolest things I’ve seen there in a long time.

Ski trip pics. She did way better than I did on my first day. She fell once. I actually fell twice that day, and I have a few seasons behind me. weak sauce, Igg.. =P

On New Year’s day we hung out with Andrew, Sabrina, Sean, and the elusive John. A good time was had by all. Due to the lack of deliveryable bod, we ended up eating at the Outback. Normally this is a good time, but they decided to cook the fries in VileBile(tm) instead of vegetable oil which resulted in all who consumed the fries to become ill. Other than that it was a good time as always.

Mm, beer.

This concludes the trip through IggVacation. It was wonderful to have Teresa up here and it sucked to see her go, But we had a great time.
