So I got t-boned last night. Some delightful fellow smashed into my driver’s side, towards the rear (picture their drivers side headlight would have hit right where I was. Most of the damage is to the rear of the car though. I was most of the way through the intersection and this guy either flew through the stop sign or couldn’t stop. Either way he didn’t stick around. I don’t think I have rental coverage, so I guess I get to burn some vacation time on a xmas vacation. This must be my “happy holidays” message from the powers that be.

UHm, did you get a car description and call the cops? They can definitely find him. It’s not that hard to find a car that is smashed….
Anyway, I’m really really sorry. 🙁 I’m just glad you’re ok.
it was pretty nasty out last night. no idea what the car looked like or anything. it was around 9:30p or so and I had water/snow/salt all over my windows. all I remember was a flash of light from the headlights. I was pretty disoriented for 30 sec or so after that.
I’m ok aside from a headache and a mark where my head hit the doorframe.
you should get checked out if there’s any chance of a concussion.
I plan on setting up an appointment just to make sure, but so far it’s just a couple contact rashes and a headache. if it gets worse I’ll set something up right away for sure.
OH SNAP! I’m glad to hear you’re ok but angry that what you described is basically a hit and run. I hope that guy ends up in the deepest recesses of hell, where Satan will eternally scratch his genitals with sandpaper and rubbing alcohol.
it was more or less a hit and run. whoever/whatever hit me just kept on running. I mean it would amount to their fault after all since they hit the rear end of my car. my direction didn’t even have a stop sign.
