You know, about 5 humans going out there could have physically stopped that car from moving by just grabbing on. There are people watching and outside. Why couldn’t they have done something? Oh and Mr. video camera could have been one of them. Assholes. I have to say I could only watch about half this video because it made me sick.

Ah yes, this video is spreading like crazy. his happened in Portland, Oregon. Being an east coast guy for most of my life I thought it was funny that people in oregon slap the snow tires on and buy chains just in case we get that single snowfall. Coming from DC where you’re expected to do 10mph over the limit in a foot of snow with bald summer tires, I thought it was quaint.
What I didn’t factor in is flash freezing, black ice, oh and did I mention the hills? back east we called these hills mountains! not a good combo. add to that no use of road salt, and no plows except for major highways, and you have trouble.
Anyway, back on topic, yes the video was shot on the crown of a hill, probably a 6 degree grade. I think when the first guy hit the pole, he got knocked out, as he had a nasty gash on his head after the ordeal. He went out and his foot was on the gas. took out just about every car on that block too.
